It all started late one night in our shop while creating some new designs. We were exhausted and our ideas were as stale as the coffee.  

Then like a bolt from the blue, a funny little creature appeared, looked us right in the eye and said, "I am Edge and I have an important message for you. Basic threads...basic life. Nice threads... nice life.  Now get committed."

We can’t really explain what happened that night, but the little creature definitely inspired some quirky and clever ideas that can only be described as Mental.

When we were finished, Edge stood atop our new designs and said, "I have taken you to your Edge - hence my name. Now share the gift with others and help them do the same."

So began our mission, to create products that encourage you to get committed - to live and play with a  Mental  "Edge".
